A shower is one of the few surfaces in your home that holds back water every single day, and most of what keeps it dry is never visible. Floor Crafters builds the whole system: demo and framing, the sloped pan, the waterproofing membrane, the tile, and the grout. Since 1988 our family-owned crew has tiled bathrooms across Boulder County, Colorado, and we have seen what happens when a shower is skimped on behind the tile - which is why we never skip the layers you cannot see.

We start the same way we do for every job: our mobile design showroom comes to your home with tile samples, we measure the space, and you get a clear written quote on the spot. No chasing a tile setter and a plumber for separate bids.

Every shower we tile gets a continuous waterproofing system behind the tile - a bonded sheet or liquid membrane over cement backer board, with corners, seams, and fastener penetrations sealed. The base is sloped to the drain before tile ever goes down, and a flood test catches any weak point while it is still easy to fix. Niches are framed from solid blocks or preformed pans rather than patched into the wall so they never become the leak.

Grout matters in our climate too. Front Range water is hard, so we walk you through cement versus epoxy grout before we begin, seal cement grout at the end of the job, and put care instructions in writing. Most bathrooms take five to eight working days from demo to final caulk; we will give you a day-by-day schedule with your quote.
