We are a family-owned flooring company, in business since 1988, and Boulder County is part of our home turf. Rather than asking you to give up a Saturday browsing a warehouse, we load samples into the truck, arrive at your door, and let you look at them against your own walls, windows and furniture. Boulder light is famously bright and clear at 5,430 feet, and a color that seemed warm in a store can turn cold or flat once it sits next to your west-facing glass.
Boulder's housing stock rewards that kind of care. Pre-war bungalows and Victorians often have original fir or oak that deserves a gentle refinish rather than a replacement. Mid-century homes in Table Mesa, Newlands and North Boulder came with builder carpet that is long overdue for retirement, and newer townhomes and condos near Gunbarrel have their own rules about sound and subfloors. Many homes here also have walk-out basements and radiant heat, and both change which floors make sense.
Our crew handles the job from start to finish: furniture moved, old flooring removed, subfloor prepared, new floor installed, trim set and cleanup done. About ten days after we finish, we come back to check that everything is performing as it should, and the Floor Crafters guarantee stands behind the work. Pick the floor that interests you most below, and each Boulder page covers costs, process and care in detail.
