Luxury vinyl flooring is not as common as other types of flooring to most people. However, it should be, it has certain qualities that will undoubtedly make you want to reconsider your current flooring.

To make things extremely simple, luxury vinyl flooring closely mimics natural wood flooring products n look and feel. Since luxury vinyl flooring is 100 percent waterproof, while maintaining the realistic look of hardwood floors, it’s an ideal option for kitchens, mudrooms, basements and baths, or other places prone to moisture. Another appealing feature is cost. Luxury vinyl options, including their installation and maintenance are considerably less expensive than hardwood flooring. Low maintenance and a wide range of shapes and sizes also appeal to many landlords and business owners.

Can Luxury Tiles Be Used In Homes?

Of course! Luxury vinyl offers versatility like no other flooring option. You can use it in your home without giving it a second thought. Not only is the quality top notch, they are extremely affordable as well. In fact, choosing luxury vinyl flooring will prove to be the best option for your family if you have pets and small children. Use it in specific rooms or lay it throughout the entire house.

What Is So Good About Its Quality?

The method for construction for luxury vinyl is one of the biggest reasons why it is so durable. There are 3 layers present in this flooring. The first layer consists of a high definition photo of the actual hardwood flooring. This photo is then glued onto another layer, also known as the backing layer. The third layer is the wear clear layer. This is the topmost layer and protects the photo layer from scratches and scuffs. 3D printing forms the clear layer to make sure that it looks and feels as real as possible. Most vinyl flooring options come with a pad attached (so much easier), so there is no need to purchase this extra. Which could run you between 0.50 cents to $1 extra per square foot. So be sure to ask if your chosen floor comes with a pad attached.

Why Is Luxury Vinyl Flooring The Next Big Thing?

The only thing you need to know is the fact that luxury vinyl flooring has taken the flooring industry by storm and its popularity is growing with each passing day. Numerous people are now considering this option as a better alternative for tile. Not only that, luxury flooring looks great and is surprisingly inexpensive it's super durable and waterproof too.

In the beginning, commercial spaces were the only places that used luxury vinyl flooring but over the last 3 years, it has been making its way into homes and numerous other places. With its rise in popularity, it would be safe to assume that Luxury vinyl flooring will soon make many other forms of flooring obsolete.

What Makes Luxury Vinyl Flooring Better Than the Traditional Flooring Options?

A few advantages make luxury vinyl flooring significantly better than traditional flooring options. Some of these advantages include:

1.     As we mentioned before, the biggest advantage that makes vinyl flooring better than     other options is how affordable and durable it is. Be wary of any flooring selling for       under a $1, this is a recipe for disaster.

2.     Durability is something that everyone seeks from their purchases especially when it       comes to flooring. Luxury vinyl flooring is the most durable flooring option out there.     You can install it anywhere (Kitchens, bathrooms etc) and you will see that they are        impervious to scuffs and scratches. Install over concrete or ply, above or below              grade. Look for a lifetime residential warranty.

3.     Manufacturers develop luxury vinyl flooring by using recycled materials. This helps         to prevent deforestation, making this flooring option environmentally  friendly.
